God's Character of Love
In Jeremiah 12-14 He is Righteous, knows me, sees me, tests my heart towards Him, angry at idolatry, compassionate, causes us to cling to Him so we may become His people, weeps over our pride and Savior in time of trouble. In 2 Timothy 1 He is gracious, merciful, giver of peace, gift giver, Savior and the One who is able to keep us faithful until His return.
Jesus & Him Crucified
In Jeremiah 12-14 Jesus is the "Hope of Israel, his Savior in time of trouble..." In 2 Timothy 1 Pauls says of Jesus, "who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel..."
