Journal Your Thoughts

What attributes of God’s character of love do you see in today’s reading?

He is merciful, gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty (just). His character is based on love, which is reflected in the law and the prophets; love to God and love to man.

Where do you see the theme of Jesus and Him Crucified in today’s reading?

Jesus and His sacrifice is represented in the various sacrifices in the wilderness tabernacle. Jesus emphasizes love (to God and then each other) as the greatest commandment in all of scripture. It is what all of scripture is based on.

What is the Holy Spirit saying to you through today’s reading?

All of scripture is based on My character of love. Continue to focus on My character of love and I will cause it to flow out in you to others.

What verse(s) are speaking to you today? Meditate & Memorize.

Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37
